Episode 20 - The Unbelievable Truth About the Legendary Magic Knights

Who's this strange woman?



The Knights enter Zagato's castle.



The Knights expect to find Princess Emmeraude, but what they see is the strange woman. The woman kept on repeating that they had killed Zagato, and she vows for revenge on them.



And a Rune God(-dess) appears.



The Knights hear Princess Emmeraude and the truth is revealed.



Emmeraude and the Knights battle. Master Mage Clef has now been freed from the stone spell set by Zagato and pleas for the Knights to grant Princess Emmeraude's Final Wish.



The three Rune Gods fuse together.



With tears in their eyes, the Knights give Emmeraude her last wish.




Finally, Emmeraude and Zagato are together, Emmeraude is now free from her responsibilites as the Pillar of Cephiro.



We are taken back to the present time, in Tokyo. Onlookers see three girls from diferrent schools huddled and crying together.



With a promise that they'll go back...

Episode 19 - Showdown! The Magic Knights Versus Zagato

Emmeraude communicates with the Knights and tells them the directions to Zagato's castle.



Zagato's back at his castle and Emmeraude heals the wounds he got from Rayearth's attack.



Foolish Alycone declares her love for Zagato, but he shuns her.



Another Rune God?



The Knights see another rune god, but he's not there to help them.



It's none other than Zagato himself, who has his own Rune God.



Emmeraude pleas all of them to stop fighting.



The Knights will not give up and combine their powers.



Zagato's death



Emmeraude goes into shock.
